Dr. Amanda Shaw, MD DABOM

Dr. Shaw attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for her undergraduate studies and received a Masters degree from the University of Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 2017 and completed her family medicine residency training at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa in 2020. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Her interests in medicine include building long term meaningful relationships with patients and treating complex chronic disease which includes weight management. She also enjoys procedures in primary care.

She and her husband, Cameron, have two children, Beckham and Melanie. She spends most of her free time outside, reading, or at a baseball field.
